Finally, after what was probably six or seven hours total of work, I completed the FIRST comic strip for GameFAQs' Summer Contest 2k5 and Board 8!

Let's see the cast of characters in this comic...

Aeris - Final Fantasy VII chick. She got snubbed from the bracket, which made a lot of users upset.
CJayC - Almighty ruler of GameFAQs and the one responsible for putting together the entire contest, including the tournament bracket.
Sephiroth - Final Fantasy VII bad dude. Technically isn't in the main bracket since he already won the villain contest last spring, but he is in the much smaller championship bracket.
the jp - An Aeris-loving Board 8 regular. He's actually old and fat, making my representation of him completely inaccurate, but I never saw his picture at the time.

I must give thanks to Ian McConville of the webcomic Machall for providing a Photoshop tutorial that tells how to do shading quickly and easily. Not that my shading is actually good or anything, but it did save a lot of time.

I know this comic will make a lot of Board 8 users happy, but I wonder how long I can continue on making this comic series before I grow sick and tired of it...

Afterthoughts - Success. Practically everyone on GameFAQs who saw my comic, with the exception of the jp himself, thought this was great. I got a feeling, however, that I won't be make another comic that can top this first one. Interestingly enough, the initial topic I made for this comic was deleted by Mods for reveiling spoilers without warning even though it really doesn't.
